Every month I choose one very special company to be my Client Of The Month. It’s my way of acknowledging clients and thanking those who support me and my business with referrals and repeat business. This month’s Client of the Month is the USO of Missouri.
The USO of Missouri, Inc., is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to lift the spirits of America’s troops and their families by providing a “touch of home” through their facilities, a shoulder when needed, and fun family events.
Here’s what Kathy O’Connor, Executive Director, and Christine Trotter, Development Director, shared in their interview with us: CIO Services has been providing technical support to the USO of Missouri for the past five years, supporting three locations: their main facility at Lambert Airport , their Terminal 2 satellite facility at Lambert Airport, and their facility at Fort Leonard Wood. The USO of Missouri was originally referred to us by another client and has since referred us to many others (thanks!). Kathy raves, “We can’t say enough about CIO Services! They are all so wonderful to work with. I appreciate their team’s excellent customer service and timely responses, even after hours and on the weekend.”
Kathy shared one evening that really stands out. We had scheduled a server upgrade on a Friday night, to avoid any disruption to operations. That happened to be the night that a tornado struck Lambert Airport. Two of our techs were onsite when it hit. They said it sounded like a freight train at first, and when leaves started blowing into the office they knew something was seriously wrong. Kathy says, “The CIO techs that were onsite were nothing less than incredible! Not only did they reach out to us immediately, they went around making sure all our volunteers were okay, then even walked the airport making sure those that were injured received help.” Kathy goes on to say, “CIO Services worked diligently to get us through this nightmare in remarkable recovery time. THANK YOU to CIO for the above and beyond support they provided us!!”
More recently, CIO upgraded all of the staff’s computers seamlessly with no downtime. “CIO talked with each staff member to see if there were any issues that needed to be addressed. Who can ask for better customer service?” Christine added, “CIO has come up with new and even better plan for our cyber café, which will be implemented in 2014. They have gone above and beyond in helping us with this solution. CIO has helped us develop a 4-year rolling IT budget to help us plan for the future.”
